Fire & Security Installation Technician

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be involved in installing and maintaining a wide range of fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install and maintain fire and security systems by industry standards (BAFE and NSI Gold).

* Identify and rectify faults across various disciplines.

* Work independently and as part of a team.

* Compile comprehensive installation documents.

* Utilise electronic devices for document completion and submission.

Experience & Skills Required:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire and security installations.

* Proficiency with Hikvision, Paxton, Scantronic, Texecom, Galaxy, Morley/Kentec Fire, and Nurse Call Systems.

* Experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic installations and maintenance.

* Basic IT skills, including MS Word and MS Outlook.

* Full UK Driving Licence and valid ECS Card

Desirable Qualifications:

* Knowledge of IP systems.

* Qualified in Fire Extinguisher installation and servicing.

* IPAF, PASMA, and Asbestos Awareness certifications.

Personal Attributes:

* Punctual, positive, and proactive.

* Detail-oriented and methodical.

* Time-efficient and able to work independently.

Contact Details:

* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

* Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

* Standby Duties: Paid retainer plus paid call-outs, 4 days on rotation.

* Benefits: 23 days of paid holiday plus UK statutory Bank Holidays (increasing with tenure), workplace pension scheme (auto-enrolment after 3-month probation), company van, uniform, laptop, and mobile phone (for business use only).
