Role - Service Desk Architect

Rate - £650 - £750 (Inside IR35)

Location - Basingstoke Full Time On site

We are looking for a Service Desk Architect to join our existing practice to deliver new service desk systems for our largest customers. You will work closely with the Solution Owner to produce design documentation on a variety of customer solutions, which vary in size and complexity. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will be driven to find better, faster, more effective solutions.

Working in Defence, you will need to demonstrate to customers and colleagues that you always work to the highest standards of data security. You will need to show others that you are an innovative individual who understands the requirements of technical design and deployment of IT systems in secure environments, and that you can deliver solutions of significant size and complexity. You will have to produce designs and plans that give customers the confidence that our team understands and can deliver their requirements while keeping the design practical and cost effective.

Your experience

Working with stakeholders to analyse requirements, negotiate and bring consensus
Working with business IT infrastructures and the Service Desks required to manage them efficiently, particularly CA Service Desk.
Workingwith sensitive systems in secure environments
Taking the lead in designing and deploying new Service Desks and the necessary integrations between the desk and other management tools to create a working system
Planning the work for a team to build, test and roll out a new service desk
Creating cost models or budgets for build and deployment of new service desks
Creating bid proposals for new contracts
Producing technical documentation to a high standard, formally documenting your designs and plansIn Return:

£650 - £750pd (Inside IR35)
Basingstoke Office Location (4 Day condensed week, considered for the right candidate)
12 Month Initial Contract

Due to the nature of this work, candidates must have live, valid DV Clearance prior to starting work OR be eligible and will to undertake clearance.

Work cannot start until clearance is Live.
