Company: My client is a well-established brickwork contractor with a strong reputation for delivering residential and commercial projects across London & the South East. They are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team, with opportunities available for candidates at all levels – from trainees to experienced professionals.

About the Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial and operational success of brickwork projects, working closely with decision-makers and directors. This position offers excellent career progression, with opportunities to move into senior roles over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Analysis & Estimating:

* Prepare detailed bills of quantities and accurate cost estimates for brickwork projects.

* Conduct cost value reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Communication:

* Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and contractors to understand project requirements and ensure cost-effective delivery.

* Attend site visits to assess progress and evaluate potential cost variations.

Reporting & Documentation:

* Provide regular financial updates and cost reports to management.

* Ensure all project documentation, including contracts and estimates, is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Flexible Approach:

* My client is open to applications from all levels of experience, from trainee to senior roles, and offers comprehensive support and training for professional development.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Essential:

* Knowledge of brickwork materials and construction processes.

* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction or brickwork sector.

* Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.

* Desirable:

* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (for experienced candidates).
