Job Description

Improving the Supplier base quality performance through the means of second party audits defined within the QMS

Support the supplier during New Model Development

Manage supplier PPAP requirements during development and in mass production.

Support gauge design and manufacturing, part measurement, and supplier part approval processes.

Collaborate with the Design and Development (D&D) team to assist in design and product validation testing.

Assist investigations and troubleshoot product and production issues.

Contribute to developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

Complete performance reviews and establish action plans with the supplier / commodity

Manage the supplier scorecard population / distribution within the required timeframe

Adhere to the Quality Management System (IATF 16949) guidelines.

Work closely within the department to provide support and guidance.

Manage and track Supplier quality concerns and warranty claims for effective closure.

Participate in cost reduction efforts.

Be flexible with potential overtime as needed.

Be open to changes in job roles for departmental flexibility.

Skills & experience

A demonstrable understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Knowledge of IATF16949 requirements

Certification as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor

Experience in conducting Second Party Audits

Experience with interactions of both suppliers and customers

Basic problem-solving skills to identify quality issues, and root causes and implement corrective actions effectively.

Computer literate in the MS package
