We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to special educational needs or disabilities. You will play a vital role in helping these students access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and achieve their full potential in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs or disabilities.
Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and numeracy.
Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet individual student needs.
Support students with social and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Promote independence and self-confidence among students.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities.
Understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt support strategies accordingly.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Relevant qualifications or training in education, special educational needs, or a related field (desired but not essential)
