MJM Industrial are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Portfolio Integration and Interface Planner to work directly for a market-leading global operation.

Your insights, project management and communication skills will help identify potential clashes between current and future works, allowing portfolio, programme and project managers, leaders, and subcontractors to make timely adjustments, regardless of their location. Continuous coordination with customer, other Heathrow Delivery Integrators, Subcontractors and internal suppliers and resources are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role requires project management and specialist planning experience to be successful and is a great opportunity for a starting Project Manager with a strong background in planning at the highest level.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

• Collaborate to identify key interfaces between Projects across all terminals within Heathrow’s Western and Eastern Campuses.

• Develop and maintain integrated and interface programmes, ensuring they adhere to best practice planning standards.

• Produce schedule reports to effectively communicate schedule status in alignment with both internal and client requirements.

• Work in adherence to the appropriate client processes and sub-programme working practices.

• Provide appropriate planning advice and direction to project team members and relevant stakeholders. Additionally, produce programme assurance reports for the client and internal teams as required.

• Apply critical path analysis to assess the impact of changes on critical and non-critical activities. Deliver information regarding changes and delays that have affected the program.

• Conduct impact assessments and explore “what if” planning scenarios for identified clashes.

• Deliver periodic programme updates and contribute to project reports as needed.

• Coordinate between clients, their partners, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with the project program. Report areas of non-compliance for resolution

• Reporting into and working in close collaboration with the Heathrow Portfolio Interface Manager and the Heathrow Planning Manager

• Project Management and Stakeholder Management responsibilities in order to understand, proactively get and take action on the integrated planning information required and be able to communicate and manage expectations with the internal and external project teams.

YOUR BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

It is essential you meet the following criteria to be successful when applying for this role;

• Have a proven track record of delivery integration and/or interface planning on highly complex project, with a minimum of 7+ years planning experience.

• Project Management experience

• A strong understanding on NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.

• Aviation and/or baggage experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Experience in stakeholder management.

• Expert Primavera 6 skills is essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise at different levels. You will have the ability to involve people and to convince them of the importance of sharing and receiving information in order to identify and maintain common project interests.

• An understanding of Mechanical and Electrical engineering would be beneficial.

• Ability and experience of leading the planning function on complex projects.
