Sue Ross Legal are pleased to be working with an established, high street legal practice in Doncaster. The firm are looking for a driven candidate to deliver on the firm’s credit control activity and support the Accounts Department . Reporting to the Accounts Clerk you will play an important role in helping transform the way that the finance department operates as the business continues to grow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring individual clients’ ledgers to help maximise fee collection and minimise risk ensuring all debts for new / existing customers are collected in line with the firms’ policies and the payment terms as agreed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Proactive approach to collecting outstanding fees to meet collection targets.
* Keeping accurate records on chasing and payment promises using our case management systems.
* Assisting with the workload of other team members from time-to-time in the Accounts Team.
* Ensuring timely escalation of issues working with the Litigation Department.
Personal attributes:
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* High levels of accuracy.
* Efficient and organised.
* Good communication skills.
* Team player.
* Friendly and approachable.
Part-Time or Full -Time hours will be considered.
