ARM has partnered with a large defense client who is looking for an experienced Technical Author to be based out of their site in Bristol. As the Technical Author, you'll be responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with EASA/FAA regulations (ICA process) and EN9100.

Responsibilities:
* Be the technical focal point for other domains and companies (design office & customer services & subcontracting companies & suppliers).
* Assess aircraft design criteria (e.g. Service Bulletin, Customer Originate Change, MPM, drawings) for technical manual impact.
* Manage Technical Data & Services Subcontracted Activities in accordance with AP2539.
* Contribute to the design criteria assessments.
* Responding to customer queries

Experience required:
* Experience in updating and maintaining aircraft maintenance manuals and parts catalogues.
* Have previous experience working in the Aerospace sector - Desirable.
* Knowledge of aircraft fuel systems - desirable
* Experience with Maintenance and troubleshooting manuals.
