Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety Manager to join our team at a major international airport.

The Role: As the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across our operations. You will be responsible for providing technical support, guidance, and professional judgment on risk management, incident prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
Lead investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and improve safety performance.
Perform risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement effective control measures in a high-risk operational environment.
Conduct audits, inspections, and assurance programs to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze safety performance data, identify trends, and recommend proactive measures for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including operational teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and alignment on safety matters.
Provide training, guidance, and support to colleagues on health and safety practices, fostering a strong safety culture across the organization.Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety roles in high-hazard and complex environments, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety management systems.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using information systems for performance monitoring and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
