ABC Teachers are recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to support an SEN child on a 1 to 1 basis in a primary school based in the Burton Upon Trent area. This role is to commence from September 2024.

The role 
This role includes the following:

Working on a full-time basis between 08:30-15:30.
Working on a 1 to 1 basis with an SEN child based in the Key Stage 2 age range.
This will be long term cover starting from September 2024 and continue up until the Christmas break, this may have a potential to be extended.
The school 
This school is located in Burton Upon Trent and is a one-form entry school.

Requirements 
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will: 

Have had prior experience working with a child with special educational needs.
 Have a drive to provide the best possible service to the children in their care.
 Be adaptable to different environments and situations.
 Teaching assistant qualifications are not compulsory with the right experience.
 Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
 Be able to gain relevant references from most recent and relevant roles.
