About Orbis Education and Care:
Orbis Education & Care is a sector-leading provider of specialist services for children and adults with complex needs associated with autism. We specialise in providing individualised placements for unique individuals.
We are looking for a experienced Painter and Decorator to join our Estates team to carry out required work in our schools and residential services around the Swansea and Pembrokeshire area. This role would also require the need for the perfect candidate to be able to support with other maintenance work needed therefore, experience in carpentry and plumbing will also be required.
A day in life of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:

Carry out all aspects of responsive maintenance works (carpentry, minor plumbing, painting).
Paint, redecorate, and make good in occupied properties.
Perform tasks such as patching or snagging in new kitchens.
Conduct full wall and ceiling painting.
Address mould removal and repainting challenges.
Engage in external painting projects.
Analyse problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repairs.
Write report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken.
Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports through the maintenance system.
Ability to carry out all working activities in accordance with company health and safety systems and HSE legislation. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Painter.
Proficiency in various painting techniques.
Attention to detail and precision in completing tasks.
Ability to work efficiently in occupied properties.
Be available and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends when required (including on emergency on-call service).
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Previous experience using field maintenance software.
CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
Full clean UK driving licence.Due to the nature of our sector, a DBS will be required.
