**Truss Factory Operative**

With sales in excess of £90m across 30+ sites and a team of 450+ people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales’ largest independent builders’ merchant is looking for the best people to join its **Talbot Timber** team.

Talbot Timber is a Manufacturer, Assembler and Distributor of critical components for the Building and Construction industry throughout South West Wales. Due to our continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a factory operative to join an experienced Engineering Team at our Pembroke Dock Site.

**We are looking for someone that has a ‘can do’ attitude to undertake the following duties**:

- Maintain focus on targets to service customer demands and meet deadlines
- Use company documentation to produce required timber engineered components
- Organise cut timber efficiently to maintain production needs
- Maintain both company and legislative quality standards
- Stack manufactured product safe and effectively for transportation/movement within relevant areas
- Complete any relevant training needs for core skills, within own role and multi skilling The Person:

- Ability to interpret and work from drawings / cutting lists, unaided.
- Good numerical skills.
- Component Assembly experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility and team working to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
