About the role: This role is for Wipro’s Financial Services Business unit within their “Communications Record Keeping and Surveillance” programme. Regulators across the Globe are increasingly scrutinising the financial services industry's ability to keep proper records of business communications, and separately, the ability to detect market abuse on electronic and voice communications.

The Communications Record Keeping & Surveillance Programme’s purpose is to mitigate such regulatory risks. The Programme resides within the client’s Compliance Technology function, with the key stakeholders being the Global Compliance and Global Legal teams, as well as Executives and Board Members.

To support the projects that are required to be delivered as part of this programme in 2025 and beyond, we require experienced consultants to act in the capacity of Subject Matter Experts within the programme team to guide the team in successful delivery of the book of work for 2025 and to achieve regulatory compliance.

Essential Domain Skills: The programme requires the following domain expertise. It is expected that the candidate has substantial prior experience working in a leading Bank or Financial institution in the surveillance domain or has experience working with reputed consulting firms as a consultant.

* Communications Surveillance

* Communications Record Keeping

* Trade & Order Record Keeping

* Have strong understanding of the following regulations and is able to explain to project team that they would mean in terms of business and technology requirements:

* FCA MAR, SYSC and COBS (Regulation),

* CFR 1.31 (Regulation)

* FINRA/SEC Rule 17a-4 and Rule 17a-3 (Regulation).

Responsibilities:

* Provide interpretations for the regulations where required and agree with key business stakeholders

* Ability to structure the scope of work that needs to be incrementally delivered through sprints and agile approach

* Work effectively with BAs and technology teams to come with technology design and solutions to implement regulations.

* Ability to work closely with stakeholders and service owners to support finalisation of business and technology requirements

* To be the point of contact for the client in sharing the leading practices adopted by other financial services institutions.

* Collaborate with project and technical teams to ensure changes are implemented in a timely, effective, and efficient manner to meet project deadlines.

Technical Skills & Experience:

* Exposure to version control systems, build and deployment tools

* Knowledge of surveillance technology platforms in the market

* Strong understanding of agile methodologies

* Understanding of Software quality management, quality control management and version control management

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to disseminate information in clear and correct manner to business and technical audiences

* Strong relationship building skills, with the ability positively influence the actions of others

* Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
