CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Key aspects of the Channel Development Manager role include:

Work across depots, departments, functions, teams, categories and a wide variety of customer channels.
Deliver implementation of customer category plans and reporting to support strategic direction of the business in partnership with key customers.
Leading customer category range reviews in collaboration with commercial objectives to enhance market penetration and share as well as margin delivery.
Fully understand our sub-categories in terms of market size, competitors, growth and trends.
Pro-actively seek customer and consumer feedback on our products.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a similar background as a Category or Channel Development Manager ideally from within the food industry.

Have an exceptional understanding of food trends, food ingredients and range planning.
FMCG ready to eat and or ready to cook category experience in a retail environment.
Identifying and bringing to market commercially profitable, consumer insight led opportunities
Fluent French
Strong analytical and presentation skills, ability to achieve consensus, and influence senior stakeholders and key customers.
