Trainee Machine Setter

This role is working 37.5 hours per week - working 10 weeks out of 12 weeks on Days (Mon-Fri with an early finish on Friday) then 2 weeks out of 12 on Nights (Mon-Thurs)

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the engineering industry, however other backgrounds are still encouraged.

The Role:

Setting and operating machines in a training capacity
Supporting the department in achieving high quality output of precision products
Assisting and supporting the machine setters
Full training and ongoing development
Monday to Friday, fulltime, permanent role with overtime available
The Person:

Basic hands on / mechanical skillset
Willingness to learn
Able to work within a team environment
Any previous engineering experience would be advantageous (not essential)
