Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Here at Futures, we are delighted to be working with a globally recognised business, but very much up and coming here in the UK. The company are a really niche manufacturer with a lot of success and growth over the last 3 | 4 years

Due, to internal progression and investments into the site, they are now looking to appoint a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, to join their Engineering department, and oversee Mechanical Maintenance on site.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for, providing continuous mechanical maintenance and repair service to all production equipment and machinery within a timely manner and ensuring that production downtime is kept to a minimum.

Responsibilities of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

Maintain, repair or replace mechanical equipment | machinery to a standard that will ensure maximum machine efficiency and performance.
Attending equipment and machinery breakdowns and prioritising workload accordingly.
Planned Preventative Maintenance of mechanical equipment.
To undertake development work that extends effective usefulness of company equipment.
To Identify and take appropriate remedial action to rectify equipment faults and failures.
Ensure all necessary maintenance information is recorded using the recognised documentations.
Successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be:

Apprentice trained to a Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Discipline or equivalent.
Well versed in working for a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
Great problem-solving skills.
A great communicator.
