The opportunity
Due to recent and forecasted project growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Planner to drive the development of all contract programmes, helping to facilitate continuous project growth.
The Role
As a Site Planner, you will be responsible for developing, operating and monitoring the relevant contract programmes for the work scope so that the contract can be controlled and executed within budget and duration.
Contract 12 months
This role has been deemed inside / outside of IR35
Your duties and responsibilities will be
To produce all necessary programmes at the appropriate times to reflect the overall contract requirements.
To predict and communicate critical path deviations to enable management to take corrective action.
To incorporate emergent works effectively into existing programmes.
To report progress against programme on a regular basis and record any delays with associated reasoning.
Key Duties K11 Workshop
Develop a fabrication plan for supports against the EM04 Room availability
Prioritise supports required.
Development and communication of resource requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales for supports.
Produce a readiness programme for all required QA documentation with durations eg Work books, weld procedures , weld tests, NNB Welder workshop ect (Ben Unthank Quality lead can assist with this information).
Prioritise small-bore pipe work.
Development and communication of resource requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales.
To report progress against programme on a regular basis and record any delays with associated reasoning.
Update agreed programme
Attend planning meetings for all equipment to be installed in 2024 and 2025.
Attend readiness reviews and update programme where required.
Development and communication of resource requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales for supports.
Attend readiness reviews to update programme.
Lease with commercials any delays to programme.
To report progress against programme on a regular basis and record any delays with associated reasoning.
Meet up with MEH Planners to discuss installation sequences.
Produce Building by Building plan with Building leads.
Development and communication of resource requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales for supports.
Work with Interface Manager to develop interface plans
To report progress against programme on a regular basis and record any delays with associated reasoning.
Lease with Germany any changes in priorities raised during on site meetings.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Relevant HNC/Degree qualification
QCF Diploma Level 3/5 Planning
APMP Practitioner
Craft training, supported by relevant CPD trainingWIMS Requirements
