Contek Recruitment are currently working with a precision machining company, based in Redditch, West Midlands, who are actively looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, set up, and operate a range of Doosana and Citizen fixed head and sliding head CNC lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Programming at the machine using Fanuc controls.
* Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* Previous experience programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes is required.
* Previous experience programming using Fanuc controls is required.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
