Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading International Multi-modal Forwarder actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Cheshire branch.

Our client offer specialist services in complete Multi-modal freight operations and have been successfully managing total Import, Export & Customs operations for over 30 years.

Business Development Manager Position Overview

Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding industry, focusing on Ocean and Air freight.
Lead Generation: Generate and nurture leads using cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and trade shows, plus any other methods the candidate considers appropriate.
Client Meetings: Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients both in person and remotely as appropriate to understand their needs and present tailored freight solutions with the objective of closing the sale.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients gained to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities to grow the company's business.

Business Development Manager Position Remuneration

£ 45000 Salary + commission

37.5 hours per week

Hybrid

25 days / year holiday entitlement plus public holidays
