URGENT REQUIREMENT?

Are you an experienced Document Controller looking for short term work with an immediate start? If so we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Our Newton Aycliffe based client is looking for a Document Controller to assist in ensuring that all documents are filed correctly, that they are up to date and the latest version. To assist in ensuring that all documents are distributed in accordance with the company's quality management system.

Duties will include:

Transfer of all current documentation to the companies new QMS software.
Act as one of the points of contact for all drawing and document control issues
Ensure that all information is recorded and retained on central document management system
Review and control of document management protocols
Archiving historical documentation
Assist Operations Manager and SQE Engineer in document management
Clear communication of expectations for documents management with all departments.
Produce weekly reports of information logged and circulate
Completion, maintenance and monitoring of records
Ensure proper records maintained for document distribution
Weekly reporting
Training internal users on document systems
Skills and Experience:

Proven experience of working within Document Control
Knowledge and experience of Document Management toolsets or Quality Management software
Strong Microsoft Office experience
Experience of working in the Engineering
As well as the use of the document management software you will be confident with Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word and Excel.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 till 16:30 Friday 08:00 till 15:00

This is a full time temporary contract for 3 month
