Job Title: Quantity Surveyor- Civils & Groundworks
Location: Hampshire, UK
Salary: Negotiable, Dependant on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets for construction projects.
* Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises.
* Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractors.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders and contracts.
* Manage contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions.
* Monitor and report on project progress, managing any variations or changes.
* Prepare and submit final accounts.
* Liaise with project managers, site managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably within civils and groundworks.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in using relevant software and tools.
* Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred.
