Teaching Assistant is for a long-term contract to permAs a dedicated teaching assistant who has worked with students with complex needs or challenging behaviour and who may have SEMH diagnoses, do you have any experience in working with these students?

The role - Teaching assistant - Southwark

Provide students with a safe environment in which they can develop their physical, emotional, and educational skills while participating in activities with individuals or small groups of students.
To provide an environment that is stimulating, well-structured, and suitable for pupils with difficulties related to social, emotional, and mental health
Enhance a student's sense of self-esteem and encourage them to achieve and develop to the best of their ability.
Assist students who need additional SEMH support by planning and delivering interventions in accordance with their needs.
Taking part in meetings to discuss student progress, including inclusion meetings, is essential.
