**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Leader to join a leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive teaching experience and a proven track record in educational leadership. This role requires a visionary leader with the ability to drive school improvement, support and develop staff, and ensure the highest standards of education and student outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Leadership & Management:** Lead and inspire a diverse team of educators and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative school culture that aligns with Mount Tamar’s values and mission.

- **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve school goals and enhance educational outcomes. Utilize data and evidence-based practices to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

- **Curriculum & Instruction:** Oversee the development and delivery of a robust and inclusive curriculum. Ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences are consistently provided across all subjects and key stages.

- **Staff Development:** Mentor and support staff through professional development opportunities, performance reviews, and coaching. Promote a culture of continuous learning and excellence among the teaching team.

- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure their engagement and support.

- **Resource Management:** Manage school resources efficiently, including budgeting and allocation of staff and materials, to support the school’s strategic objectives.

- **Compliance & Standards:** Ensure the school adheres to all regulatory and statutory requirements. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

- A proven track record of successful teaching and leadership roles within an educational setting.

- Demonstrated experience in leading school improvement initiatives and driving educational outcomes.

- Strong understanding of curriculum design, pedagogical strategies, and student assessment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate staff, students, and parents.

- Relevant qualifications in education and leadership, including a degree and professional teaching certification.

- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
