Working along side the Procurement Manager you will support the Tender and Procurement teams, focusing on the high value critical raw material and subcontractor contracts critical for the success of the business. Building relationships with vendors and identify new suppliers, whilst ensuring cost, delivery, and quality requirements are met.

 Job Duties

You will be...

Responsible for establishing purchasing procedures required to fulfil the procurement, inventory, and management of raw materials.
Serve as the point of contact between key suppliers and SeAH Wind.
Create and execute Purchase Orders consistent with contract requirements.
Develop key long terms partnership agreements with key suppliers.
Price analysis of actions; cost analysis and negotiation of proposals; fact finding in RFI’s.
Manage quality, design and payment to vendors.
Administer supplier contracts, control costs, and ensure on-time delivery in accordance with program requirements and report to wider project team (QS, PM, SD etc…)
Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
Mitigate any quality and or delivery issues with suppliers.
Analyse industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Experience/Education/Skills/

Certification / Qualifications

 What we need from you

Educated to degree level equivalent in relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Project Management or Supply Chain Management).
Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems (SBB, MEPS, LME etc…)
3-5 years of experience in buyer or procurement role; preferably with experience in carbon steel plate and or large flanges
Experience with an ERP systems.
Proactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperation.
