Multi-Skilled Engineer – Plastic Packaging

Salary: £39,520 + Pension + Overtime

Shift Pattern – 38 hours a week 7-7 days and nights

The Company

My client is a leader in the development of specialist high performance plastic packaging solutions and is extremely well established. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the electrical knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into several blue chip manufacturing organisations with a reputation for product quality and reliability.

Key Skills

* Apprentice Trained Engineer

* Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery

* Manufacturing experience

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project-based work within a high-speed automated environment.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for conveyors, packaging machines extrusion machines, printing machines, material handling systems & conveyors. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
