About the Role:
As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of skilled workers and coordinate with subcontractors, to deliver exceptional construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Manage and direct the construction team, including subcontractors and site workers, to achieve project goals.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Monitor and control project budgets, materials, and equipment to optimise resource utilisation.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and identify any potential issues or delays.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
Prepare and submit progress reports, documentation, and updates to senior management.
Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during construction.
Adhere to security procedures on sensitive sites such military barracks.
Qualifications:
Experience in construction site management or a similar role.
Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.
Valid CSCS card - Management
SMSTS
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
