Our long standing client in Walsall are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. They are a fast paced machine shop, manufacturing parts for industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, and Power generation.

They manufacture components from a vast range of materials from soft plastics through to hard steels.

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Requirements:

The right candidate for the position will have the following skills.

* CAD: Competent using Solidworks

* CAM: Competent using SolidCAM 2.5D and advanced 3D (Please also apply if you have experience in AlphaCAM)

* Able to set and operate 3 Axis HAAS CNC Milling machine. (Please also apply if you have experience in Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Fanuc.)

* Able to read technical drawings to a high level.

* Able to use measuring equipment.

* Have machining experience in a variety of materials.

Non-essential: if you have experience in the following areas please state when applying for the position.

* Machine maintenance

* CNC CMM experience

* 4/ 5 Axis experience

* HMC experience

* Turning experience Manual or/and CNC

* Manual milling experience

* 5S experience

* 6 sigma experience

* Robotic integration / line builder experience. (Fanuc, ABB, Etc.)
