Salary: £90 - £120 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 15:30

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Assistant to join our team at Veritas Education supporting Secondary Schools in Barnsley. As a Sports Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of sports programs and promoting physical activity among students.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in the planning and delivery of sports sessions and activities.
Providing support and guidance to students during sports sessions.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Setting up equipment and resources for sports activities.
Promoting teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship among students.
Assisting with the organization of sports events and competitions.
Encouraging participation in extracurricular sports clubs and activities.Requirements:

Passion for sports and physical education.
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards promoting physical activity.
Relevant sports coaching qualifications or certifications (desirable but not essential).Benefits:
