Housing Enforcement Officer
My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Enforcement Officer to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
The role be in inside IR35 and my client is offering hybrid working, with 2/3 days required in the office.
 
The Role
·Conduct housing inspections to identify and remediate Category 1 hazards.
·Enforce activities under the Housing Act 2004, including drafting and issuing enforcement notices and financial penalties.
·Represent the council in magistrates court and first-tier tribunal proceedings.
 
The Ideal Candidate
·HHSRS Certificate: Must hold a current Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) certificate.
·Enforcement Experience: Recent experience in housing enforcement activities, particularly under the Housing Act 2004.
·Inspection Experience: Proven track record in conducting housing inspections and addressing Category 1 hazards.
