Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join our esteemed client in Balsall Common. This role i requires a solid background in civil engineering, particularly in highways.

Key Responsibilities:

·Oversee and manage site operations for the project, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
·Conduct and supervise utility detection and mapping activities.
·Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
·Implement and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
·Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, material usage, and workforce management.
·Conduct reporting, risk assessments, and method statements.
·Manage subcontractors and guide junior site engineers.

Qualifications and Experience:

·Previous experience in Highways projects, particularly in Earthworks and Drainage.
·Valid SMSTS and EUSR certifications.
·Must have a valid driving licence.

Skills and Attributes:

·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Proficient in using relevant engineering software and technology.
·Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
·Keen on reporting, risk assessments, and method statements.

Additional Information:

·Working hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.
·Immediate start.
·Night shift includes an uplift percentage.
·Current freelancers have long-term opportunities.
