Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Section Lead to join our reputable organization. This position demands a robust foundation in civil engineering, with a focus on roadway projects.

Primary Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities for the project, ensuring adherence to project requirements and safety regulations.
  • Conduct and oversee utility detection and mapping tasks.
  • Engage with project managers, contractors, and other parties to guarantee timely and effective project execution.
  • Enforce and comply with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines and protocols.
  • Keep precise site documentation, including progress updates, material consumption, and workforce oversight.
  • Perform reporting, risk evaluations, and method statements.
  • Oversee subcontractors and mentor junior site engineers.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in roadway projects, especially in Earthworks and Drainage.
  • Possession of valid SMSTS and EUSR certifications.
  • A valid driving license is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Dedication to upholding high safety standards.
  • Interest in reporting, risk assessments, and method statements.

Additional Insights:
Working hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

  • Immediate availability is preferred.
  • Night shifts may include an uplift percentage.
  • Current contractors have opportunities for long-term engagement.
