The Opportunity
Due to successful project expansion, a fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading player within the nuclear industry to drive the design work for all piping systems.
The role
Employment Type
Contract Estimated Duration – 7 months
This role has been deemed inside of IR35
Your role will be fully remote (with occasional visits to either Bristol or Devonport offices)
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Design work for piping systems - sizing pipework, pumps, design work to position pipework and pumps to located them.
Involved in the review and processing of design produced by design sub-contractors.
Managing other designs through the client approval process.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of pipework and pumps.
Installation of pipework and pumps
Due to nature of the projects British nationals will only be considered for this role.It’s great if you also have the following
You will need to be able to obtain SC-Clearance – can start on BPSS.
Ideally you’ll have 3-5 years post Graduate experience.
You’ll have pipework/design work experience.Get in touch now
