Join this dynamic team at a primary school in Hackney as they strive to empower every child to reach their full potential. As a Psychology Graduate, you'll play a pivotal role in our SEN department, providing invaluable support and guidance to children who need it most.

What you'll bring to the table:

Expertise in Psychology: Your deep understanding of child development and behavior will be instrumental in tailoring interventions and strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Empathy and Patience: You'll demonstrate empathy and patience in abundance, building strong rapport with children and their families to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.

Educational Support: Utilize your knowledge to support teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting teaching methods, and providing additional resources to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Inclusive Mindset: Champion inclusivity and diversity within our school community, celebrating the unique strengths and talents of each child.

Analytical Skills: Your keen analytical skills will enable you to assess student progress, identify areas for development, and collaborate with colleagues to implement effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.

🔹 Provide one-on-one support to students who may need additional help or guidance. 🔹 Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.

🔹 Assist with classroom management tasks and administrative duties as needed.

🔹 Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the holistic well-being of students.

Requirements:

🔸 A degree in education or a related field is preferred but not essential.

🔸 A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.

🔸 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

🔸 Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

🔸 Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning and professional growth.

Location: Hackney, London

Hours: Full-time, Term-time only

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
