What you’ll be doing:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis – tailoring activities so they can reach their goals.
* Helping the lead teacher adapt lessons, making learning accessible for every student.
* Developing social and communication skills with students who need that extra guidance.
* Assisting in implementing Individual Education Plans and strategies to help each child progress.
* Encouraging independence, building confidence, and creating a safe and supportive learning space.
* Tracking progress and feeding back to the team to make sure everyone stays on track.
* Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where everyone can thrive.
What you’ll need:
* An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to complete one)
* Maybe you have a TA Qualification, or perhaps you have experience supporting SEND students (But we can chat about that)
* Have a genuine passion for helping others
* To be creative and adaptable – No two students are the same
Additional Information:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Full time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30
* Salary - £85 - £100 a day depending on experience.
* Location: Littleworth, Oxfordshire
