The Role:
So, what will you be doing as a Financial Accountant?
Preparing and reviewing management reports, monthly accounts, and claims.
Managing cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset registers.
Supporting the yearly audit process and compliance efforts.
Maintaining Build Partner retention schedules and recharges.
Liaising with budget holders for effective financial management.
Leading finance projects and assisting with system improvements.
Overseeing the Finance Assistant and handling supplier payments.
Organising and attending stock takes as required.
Making a significant impact by working closely with senior management and driving key initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
What are we looking for in our next Financial Accountant?
ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified.
Proven experience in a Finance Department, including Management Accounts production.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills; Strong knowledge of Accounting, Financial Control, and Sage 200 Accounts.
Experience in process management and implementing control procedures.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload.
Self-motivated team player with strong collaboration skills across departments.
