Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teachers to join our team in the Newham Borough. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across various schools within the borough, supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
Implement and adapt the curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students.
Provide support and guidance to teaching assistants and support staff working with SEN students.
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress in accordance with school and statutory requirements.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
Proven experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably within a school setting.
Strong understanding of various SEN conditions, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and developmental delays.
Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
