SEND Teaching Assistant Needed

Milestone Education are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team

About the School:

Our partnered school is commited to providing exceptional education and support to all their students. Their aim is to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each child.

Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND, catering to their individual needs and learning styles.

* Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt teaching materials and activities that are accessible and engaging for students.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting support strategies as needed,

* Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.

* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and implementing behaviour support plans.

* Work closely with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure a strong supportive network for students.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS Check

* Relevant work or personal experience supporting people with SEND

* Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning needs.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire
