21 Hours (Tues-Fri – a job share may be considered)

TA Actual Starting Salary £12,903

MDS Salary £2,021

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work with one

of our children with additional and complex needs. This position is to start as soon as

possible and is based in the Reception class, supporting our pupil as they move into

Year 1 and beyond. You will need energy, positivity, a calm manner and a desire to help

children succeed. Although previous experience is not essential, holding Teaching

This is a role that will make a significant difference to a child's experience of school but

one that will ultimately be rewarding and allow you to develop your skills and

Tuesday to Friday term time, plus 4 teacher training days. Part time applications will

also be considered.

You will be based in the classroom with the rest of the friendly and dedicated

Reception class team and will be supporting our child's learning and development

under the guidance of the class teacher. At lunchtime you will join our team of

lunchtime supervisors to assist in the supervision of the children within the dining hall

or on the playground.

Please be aware that the school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the

welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share

this commitment. The post is therefore subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
