Transport Administrator

Are you ready to drive our transport operations forward? As a Transport Administrator at our Lea Riverside office, you'll coordinate daily vehicle logistics and administration, reporting directly to the Transport/Service Manager. Collaborate with Drivers, Assistants, and cross-functional teams to meet client service demands.
Schedule: Night Shift (4am – 1pm), Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily driver dispatch, debrief sessions, and oversee all paperwork and PDA data. Handle issues and replan routes as necessary.
Develop and maintain departmental systems, ensuring accurate data recording and retrieval.
Perform office duties such as copying, filing, and document preparation.
Resolve driver conflicts and missed collections, escalating to management when needed.
Maintain constant communication with road crews to resolve issues and ensure operational flow.
Act as primary contact for drivers, providing support and addressing issues during rounds.
Handle administrative tasks related to fleet management, including invoice processing, coding, and reconciliations.
Manage the clocking machine and attendance discrepancies.
Administer fuel system operations, monitor fuel usage, and generate monthly reports.
Maintain accurate vehicle tyre records and support fleet maintenance.
Assist in accident investigations, collect CCTV footage, and ensure routine vehicle checks.
Essential Skills/Attributes:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
Proficient in IT and administrative tasks.
Experience with internal systems and team support.
Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach.
