LTF Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic individual, that would be confident to support secondary school students with their learning and development. This role is at a welcoming secondary school, located in the Derby (DE24 area). The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their welcoming school in the new academic year (September 2024) and work collaboratively to support students. Initially, this is a long term role - with the view to work for the school permanently after a period of time.
This is an amazing opportunity to work with a supportive team, in a friendly and warm secondary school.
Role Responsibilities:
Provided support to secondary aged pupils, promoting engagement with learning
Support students with special educational needs
Monitor and track student progress, and report back to relevant members of staff
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers/support staff to ensure that the best possible support is providedPerson Specification:
Previous experience of working with children/young people
A qualification/degree is desirable for this role, but not essential
A passion for supporting students to reach their full potential
