The basics:

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ibstock

Industry: Manufacturing

Pay: £45693 + overtime = earnings of £48000 and upwards achievable

Shift: Mon-Fri - Mornings (5.30am to 1.30pm) rotating with Mon-Fri - Afternoons (1.30pm to 9.30pm)

Benefits: Pay reviews, 33 days holiday, pension contribution scheme.

Overview:

Working on automated production line machinery we now require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Electrical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems
A mechanical understanding would be advantageous - gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics
Knowledge of PLC's advantageous
Electrically qualified - Must be able to present these at interview - minimum Level 3 or apprentice trained Commutable from: Swadlincote, Ashby de la Zouch, Coalville, Leicester and surrounding areas.
