Key Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out essential planned mechanical maintenance and completing necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order
  • Involvement in ongoing process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions
  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service, and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification, such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & Equipment
