Job Title: Shift Electrician

Location: Rotherham

Shifts: 7 on, 2 off, 7 on, 2 off, 7 on, 10 off (each 7 day block split into days, afters and nights)

Salary: £51,000+

Metalis are working with one of our long-standing clients who are manufacturers within the packaging industry, they are looking to add to their team by recruiting for a permanent shift electrician on the above shift pattern.

Job Role:

To provide effective breakdown service, involving fault finding and repair of production services equipment across each shift.
Assist in installations, commissioning and start-up of equipment on site projects.
To provide an effective planned maintenance service, carrying out planned maintenance routines.
To carry out safety inspections of equipment to comply with the company health and safety policy.
To ensure compliance with company and legislative health and safety policies, procedures and standards at all times.
To complete engineering breakdown reports.
Cover shifts as required for holidays and sickness for other members of the maintenance team.Job Requirements:

Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
Completed 18th edition wiring regulations.
PLC programming experience would be desirable.
Good knowledge of health & safety.
Ability to be flexible with shift cover.Job Details:
