Maintenance Electrician

**Role**: Maintenance Electrician

**Hourly Rate**: £15.05 basic + £5.86 shift allowance.

**Location**: Rotherham

**Hours**: 3 shift pattern in place:
Days (06:00-14:00 Mon to Thurs, 06:00-13:30 Fri),

Afters (14:00-22:00 Mon to Thurs, 13:30-21:00 Fri)

Nights (22:00-06:00 Mon to Thurs, 21:00-04:30 Fri)

There is also a continental shift rota, working 12 hours, rotating between Days and Nights.

Duration of assignment: Temporary-Permanent

**The role**:

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Operate and maintain a range of machinery, in order to produce high quality work, within high efficiency standards.
- Work effectively alone or with team members/leaders and other members of staff to accomplish organisational goals.
- Analyse problems and identify cause-effect relationships.
- Communicate and express ideas effectively in individual and group situations.
- Participate in all mandatory training.
- Adhere at all times to all Company Policies, including but not limited to Quality, Health & Safety etc.
- Ensure that good housekeeping principles are maintained at all time.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as defined by position responsibilities.

Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. Awareness of national electrical codes and regulations. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents. An effective Maintenance Electrician must be mechanicallyminded and will, preferably, have a background in the manufacturing industry and have technical and or professional qualification in Electrical engineering. You must have a basic secondary education and be proficient in Maths and English.
