Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank and Payroll, alongside additional tasks related to. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to support the companys financial health and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Your day-to-day duties include:
* Process purchase invoices credit notes including the matching against Purchase Orders
* Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
* Post supplier payments and allocate as necessary
* Generate and send out invoices to customers
* Assist in processing payroll for weekly paid staff and monthly salaried staff using Sage 50 Payroll.
* Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.

You will have A qualification in accounting or finance (up to AAT level), Proven experience in a similar role, with responsibilities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, as well as financial experience. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office Suite applications. High attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills are important as well as the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. You will also be driven and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
