Business Development Executive Luxury Travel

Base Salary £35,000 + Car Allowance + Bobus and Benefits

Remote - South of England

Our client is a leading tour operator who specialise in bespoke luxury holidays within Latin America and the Polar regions.

They sell their product through the travel trade with great success, and they are now recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their account management team.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for growing their travel trade business in the South of England, through their valued travel partnerships within the UK Travel Trade and contribute to the growth and success of the business.

Our client will consider candidates who have previous tailormade Latin America travel sales experience who are looking to develop a career within account management/business development or candidates who have account management/business development experience working with the travel trade.

This role is remote and requires regular travel within the South of England.

Business Development Executive Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of UK Travel Trade Partners throughout the South of England.

Actively engage with UK Travel Trade Partners through a variety of channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to build rapport, offer product knowledge, and maximize sales opportunities.

Promote and effectively sell the full product range to UK Travel Trade Partners

Collaborate with UK Travel Trade Partners to understand their specific needs, preferences, and target markets, and tailor our promotional materials support, training and incentives accordingly.

Provide regular training and support to our UK Travel Trade Partners, including updates on new destinations and tours, marketing collateral, and any special promotions or incentives.

Assist with organising and participating in trade shows, industry events, and familiarization trips to increase brand awareness and establish relationships.

Business Development Executive Experience Required:

Previous experience of the travel industry within a field-based account management/business development role or as a tailormade Latin America Travel Specialist

Team player with excellent spoken and written communication skills, a confident and professional communicator.

Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.Strong negotiation skills.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.

Business Development Executive Salary and Benefits:

Base Salary to £35,000 + bonus
