Commercial White Goods Engineer

InstaStaff are currently supporting a repair and maintenance company with the recruitment of their White Goods Engineer, this role will be based in the Birmingham area, covering jobs across the commercial side of the business.
As a White Goods Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and repair of commercial white goods, this includes laundry equipment, dishwashers, and commercial microwaves. Some of the clients you will be working with include NHS, education, hotels, launderettes, prisons, and housing associations.
This will be an on the road role covering the Birmingham area, you will be given a company vehicle and all the tools to do the job.
The duties of the White Goods Engineer will be:
* Repair and maintenance of commercial white goods
* Repairing laundry equipment, dishwashers, ironing machines and commercial microwaves
* You will be required to work in prisons, within the NHS, housing associations, commercial launderettes, hotels, and restaurants
* Using a handheld scanner to log all jobs
* Liaising with head office regarding delivery of parts
* Ordering parts for jobs
* This will be a stand-alone role, based in the field
The ideal White Goods Engineer will have:
* Experience within a similar role
* Gas safe certificate would be a benefit, but not essential
* A full UK driving license
* Experience of repairing white goods
The salary for the White Goods Engineer is circa £30,000.
The hours of work for the White Goods Engineer are based around Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, but overtime and weekend work is available if required
