Project Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Red Sky Personnel Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within the civil and water sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver projects with minimal guidance, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure effective communication and project progress.
• Monitor and control project risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
• Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including project documentation and financial reports.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience of managing projects within civil and water sectors.
• Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control.
• Ability to use Primavera P6 software or equivalent.
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• CSCS manager's card.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of the NEC contract, including the Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
• Excellent communication, people, and team management skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and mentor.
• Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Experience of a direct labour organisation.
