Manufacturing Engineer

As a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in CNC manufacturing you will optimize the production processes and have a key focus on process improvement, quality enhancement, and efficiency maximization.

Duties & Responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer will include:

Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and develop innovative solutions.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address manufacturing discrepancies.
Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
Design and execute experiments to validate process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure compliance with established processes and standards.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technology to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, highly desired.
Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline and 5 years firsthand experience.
Six Sigma – Green belt qualification.
Background in a manufacturing, metals, machining, process engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters optimization.
Experienced utilising lean manufacturing techniques and problem-solving tools.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and CNC programming.
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
Meticulous with a commitment to quality and process excellence.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
