Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Location: Lochside Industrial Estate, Dumfries

Salary: £11.75 per hour

Hours: 9 Hour Shifts with varied start times between 5am and 9am (Mon-Fri)

Talento is delighted to be recruiting for Production Operatives for our client who is a leading provider of professional laundry services, based in Dumfries. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality laundry services, we want to hear from you

Our client operates an environment very similar to a Manufacturing/Industrial environment, therefore previous factory experience is desired, but not essential.

Responsibilities:

· Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry items according to company standards

· Operate and maintain laundry machinery and equipment

· Inspect items for stains, damages, or defects and report any issues to the supervisor

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area

· Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

· Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a factory or similar environment is preferred, but not essential

· Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards

· Excellent time management and organisational skills

· Good communication and teamwork abilities

· Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime if required
